Michelle Duchin, LCSW

Michelle is a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience supporting individuals and couples on their family-building journeys. Her career began at one of New York City's top-rated infertility clinics, where she provided psychoeducational support to intended parents and screened egg donor candidates. She later developed and implemented their Embryo Donation and Fertility Preservation (Egg Freezing) programs. She also worked for a family building agency, screening potential gestational carrier and egg donor candidates and supporting them through their experience.
Michelle has a diverse professional background that extends beyond reproductive health. In addition to her work in fertility, she managed the onsite counseling program for Boston Consulting Group, offering valuable support and guidance to employees through corporate wellness initiatives. Furthermore, Michelle extends her expertise to support graduate students as they navigate the complexities of managing the stress associated with academic pursuits and entering into the workforce. Her commitment to fostering mental health extends across various life stages, from family-building challenges to the unique stressors faced by students and professionals alike.
Michelle received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Hebrew from Indiana University and a Master's Degree in Social Work from New York University.
Alicia Denefe, LCPC
She/Her
Alicia is a compassionate and experienced counselor who has dedicated her career to helping individuals and couples build their families through third-party reproductive technology and adoption. Her own personal experience with infertility and adoption has fueled her interest in this work, and she brings a unique perspective and understanding to her clients.
In addition to her expertise in family building, Alicia has also supported individuals struggling with perinatal mood disorders such as postpartum depression and anxiety. She is committed to helping clients navigate life transitions, whether it be through parenting, aging, chronic illness, or loss.
Alicia holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Notre Dame, a Master's Degree in Human Services Counseling from National Louis University, and an MBA from Loyola University. With her diverse educational background and clinical experience, Alicia is equipped to provide thoughtful and effective counseling to those in need.
Jennifer Wolf, LCSW
She/Her
Jennifer is a licensed clinical social worker passionate about helping individuals and families navigate the challenges of infertility. Personal experiences with grief and loss led her to pursue a career in the social services field. She began her career providing case management for adults with developmental disabilities and their families before transitioning to behavioral health, where she supported adults with chronic mental illness.
In her early twenties, Jennifer learned of a friend's struggle with infertility, which sparked her interest in learning more about third-party reproduction. She completed two cycles as an egg donor and then began working in the field, where she has gained extensive experience in case management, conducting psychosocial assessments, and facilitating support groups for gestational carriers.
Jennifer's clinical expertise is in supporting individuals and couples facing infertility and other reproductive challenges. She is dedicated to providing compassionate and individualized care, drawing from her personal and professional experiences. Jennifer received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from DePaul University and a Master's Degree in Social Work from UIC, Jane Addams College of Social Work.
